We often forget how fortunate we are in the UK. There are endless opportunities for us when it comes to travel especially with the whole of main Europe right on our doorstep. We can now get from part of the UK to France in less than an hour; how amazing is that. There are so many places that you can visit once you get to the mainland and you can choose to go skiing in the snowy north or sunbathing in the sunny Mediterranean south; the choice is yours. And if you decided to spend the rest of your days travelling around Europe, then you probably never get bored as there really is so much that you can do.

And what’s even better is that we can travel to any of the countries in Europe without needing a visa because of the fact that we all belong to the EU. We can just turn up and as long as we can present a passport we are free to travel. Staying in these countries for as long as we want is no problem and if we wanted, we could even move there permanently. Some of us feel like we have been born in the wrong place; maybe we are devoted sun worshipers. If we search Europe though there is bound to be a place to suit our unique temperament.

These last two years has seen a lot of people needing to tighten their budgets. However we can travel around Europe at an affordable price with such easy access. If we are bored with the miserable weather we can easily get to somewhere sunny and it doesn’t need to cost us an arm and a leg. There are so many places within easy reach and it only takes a trip on a boat or in the Channel Tunnel for us to get there; you really wouldn’t need anything more than Europe has to offer.
